We haven't been grocery shopping for awhile... So for lunch yesterday Cara ate chocolate chips and a bowl of shredded cheese... and we have been eating out at night with friends. Because of this we are hitting some of our favorite spots.
Especially sushi! We have found that Mac can eat almost as much as Cara in the California roll department. Which, surprisingly Cara can also eat a lot of.

So I have slowly started to say my goodbyes. It is hard and sad and I am going to miss everything and everyone.
I will especially miss things like these amazing chocolates... not just from any old patient, but from those people I have grown to love and who I consider family now.
We just love splash pads in Arizona. We are going to miss them, but we won't miss the 115 degree weather that comes along with it!
We had fun playing with some friends... kind of our last rounds of spending time with Arizona people. Makes me sad but excited at the same time.
In other words... Ryann's big girl teeth are coming in nicely, braces here we come!
Every 7 year old needs to know how to cross their eyes. This is serious business so we had lessons the other day with Ryann. I think she did a good job. Being pretty cute helps.
We decided to get haircuts for the girls this weekend since moving to California it will probably be a lot more expensive (and since auntie Devyn is out of commission due to one of the cutest nephew being born!)
The girls loved their hair cuts and wanted me to show them off on my phone.
Sometimes, in the middle of the day, when it is 111 degrees out, you pack your two littlest kiddos on the car and go get snow cones. Then you sit outside in the heat because your 5 year old is so cute and begs you to sit on the bench.
Zach, Madeline, Ryann, and I all went horseback riding while we were at the reunion. Ryann and I had matching horses. She had silver chief and I had captain. Zach had dollar and Madeline had atlas.
We all had fun, but Ryann said this was the best part of the trip!
Saturday of our reunion was filled with the lake, boating, Mac eating too much sand, family night, games, horse back riding, sunburns, a trip to the doctor for an ear infection and lots of missing 2 siblings and our parents.
We are so happy our new cousins are born but we do miss them that they are staying safe at home with their mommies.
We were fortunate enough to take a quick trip for a family reunion... can you believe my kids are excited or what?

We started off Mac's birthday week with a bang! Grandma mingo and auntie Vicki brought us panda express and a giant cupcake. Also some blocks, cars, and some fun clothes. He has a blast with his cupcake until he got frosting in his eye.
Fyi... when Mac is tired he has started to pick at his eyelashes and pull on them. Weird. That's how he got the frosting there.
Instead of our typical swimming at someone else's house (ie pool crashing) wet decided to head over to a splash pad. Mac hasn't been a fan in the past, but he loved it! The girls had a lot of fun with him too.
We see a lot of this in Arizona for the summer. No matter how long the car ride, poor baby Mac ends up with a sweaty head.
