I had a job interview in Santa Cruz today and since the kids had the day off we decided to make a family trip out of it. One night stay and you would have thought we gave them the world.
They couldn't stop saying this was the best day of their lives. They were so happy and a few times Mac would just lay belly down in the sand and wiggle his little body and laugh hysterically.
Driving home today we took highway 1 instead of the quicker way home. We stopped a few times to let the kids run around for more beach time.
