Camping Faces

Here are some of the crazy camping faces that I got on camera. These girls are constantly cracking me up. One minute they are so sweet and a minute later they are throwing a tantrum or pouting.

Happy Campers

 We spent the weekend camping with some friends. It was a nice location that was only an hour away. We had a new tent, a playground, close bathrooms and showers, good food, lots of snacks, and horseback riding. 

 Besides getting to bed late the first night, we all slept fairly well. Rich and I already took naps today when we got home and have started on the massive amounts of laundry. 

 I think Ryann's favorite part was the pink camping chairs, donuts, and horseback riding. 

Cara liked playing in the dirt, chocolate candies, marshmallows, and that mom let her go to the bathroom all by herself. 

Easter Confetti

One of the best parts of the day was throwing the confetti easter eggs at the uncles and daddy. 

 This may become a tradition. First the girls get there turn, and then the big boys get their turn against each other. 

Loved

Yes baby Mac, you are loved. 

This is a very normal occurrence at our house. Ryann loves to talk to my belly, kiss it, hug it and blow raspberries on my belly. 

I love it too. 

Egg Dyeing

Thank goodness for Auntie Vicki and Grandma Mingo. 

Without them we might have gone without coloring Easter Eggs this year. 

 I am not sure if the 26 eggs were enough for the two girls ;)

 Definitely intense and the quite a few colors were spilled. Thankfully our 9 year old table can take quite the beating.

Easter Chicken

Thanks to a wonderful family in our ward, our girls got to take their pictures with the Easter Chicken again this year. You think by now they would know how to take a decent picture... oh wait, maybe it is me who hasn't learned how to take a decent picture. Oops. 

 They love this thing and made us drive by a couple times this year in order to see it. 

 Hope everyone had a happy Easter, we have a lot more pictures to come. 

Easter Hike

This has been a family tradition since Ryann was born. 

Here is last years post. 

2 Years ago when Auntie Devyn came and Uncle Rob was there too. 

This year we made it up and back in good time. 

 No toys were brought on the hike, no whining happened, and only towards the very end did we have to carry Cara for a couple minutes. 

 Both girls dressed themselves in their best hiking gear... with Minnie Mouse shoes of course!

One of those days

Today was one of those pregnancy hormone days. 

I woke up annoyed. 

Then I went to the hospital for a bright and early morning at 6:30.

From there I headed straight to the office for patients. Turns out the doctor was running an hour behind so I had to help with those patients too.

Then at noon we were having a baby shower/potluck for my medical assistant. I didn't finish my patients until 12:20. 

Then I had a peer review meeting (which means they look at every single chart to try and find mistakes that you have made over the past year of delivering babies) that started at 12:30. It turned out fine, but super stressful to be put on the spot for a patient 8 months ago and try to explain all of your actions. That finished at 2.

Then I went back to the baby shower to try to get some left over food and some of the 4 layer pinterest inspired cake that I had made for the baby shower... Everyone was gone. The food was gone. The Cake was also gone. I didn't get a piece or even a picture of how pretty it turned out. 

So I drove home. I walked in the door and Rich asked me an innocent question. HOW DARE HE ASK ME A QUESTION!!!???

That was all I could handle. So I took Ryann and we headed out for some R&R.

 AKA, pedicures.

 Don't you wish it solved everything? It certainly made things better, but I am still on edge, still tired, swollen, and I have an achy back. But, I was able to make it through dinner and baths. Not sure if I will make it to bed time, but I will certainly try, because Ryann and I have matching toes.

High Heels

Ryann wore her new high heels yesterday to church. She got them in the mail from Auntie Devyn. 

 She almost fell down the stairs when she was wearing them, but I couldn't convince her to take them off. She did do really good wearing them on flat surfaces though. 

 This is the sweet auntie who sent them to her! Love you and miss you Auntie Devyn and Baby Hazel.

Tiara

Ryann wore her tiara to church today. She also gave her first talk. 

And we let her play angry birds during sacrament meeting. Oops.
