Grandpa and grandma great

Mac and I are lucky enough to be in California for a couple days so we got to visit with grandma and grandpa great.

While in Napa we visited with Grandma and Grandpa Great. Mac enjoyed his time being snuggled.

 Ryann enjoyed the diving board and cannon balls!

 Neither girl would let me put their hair in a pony tail this trip, and I really didn't have the hands to do it anyway, so the enjoyed hair in their faces the entire time we went swimming. 

Visitors

We have been blessed with some fun visitors. 

Grandma loved matching you in her stripes. 

 Grandpa Cochran didn't think he could remember how to hold a newborn.

 Grandma Great, or Gigi, remembered all right, here it looks like he is trying to smile at her!

 Then we tried to get Cara to sit still for a picture, but that wasn't happening... come on, we got better pictures with a 3 day old than we did with a 4 year old. 

 Ryann was more than happy to sit with them though because Grandpa great likes to count your ribs to make sure they are all there. 

Also Auntie Erin came to visit, but for some reason I don't have a good picture of them both today... but this is a pretty cute face Mac is constantly making. 

Personal Nutcracker

One of my favorite wedding gifts was from my Grandma and Grandpa Cochran. My Grandma is an amazing artist and she never ceases to amaze me with her talent. The wedding gift was this nutcracker that she personalized and painted herself. 

 Cara is really in love with it too. I finally had to move it because the glasses kept being pulled off and the teddie bear often found its way to other parts of the house. 

 Things you may not be able to see are the volleyball (how Rich and I met), the stethoscope, and all the cute other personal touches that I just love and adore.

Grandpa and Grandma Great

We checked into Aspen Grove for the Wagner Family Reunion on Saturday. There were about 200 people in the camp and we were more than 45 of them!  It was so much fun to see everyone and spend time with one another.  Cara seriously is in LOVE with grandma and grandpa great.  Everytime she saw them it was huge smiles and hugs and waves. 

I did get some cute pictures of them, Cara is notorious for saying, "Take a picture mom!" so I have some on my camera and some on my cell phone.  Hopefully we will get them all loaded with all the other Wagner family and we will make an awesome scrapbook.
