Chompers

Shelbs got her 3rd tooth today. Top right front tooth. She also drank out of a straw for the first time today too. I handed her Mac's cup and she started guzzling it down. Well, I guess we got that milestone out of the way too. 

I probably should start giving her cups with water in them on a more regular basis. Like more often than once every ten months? 

Saturday morning donut run

Open house

My cute Ryann had her first real science project displayed at school today. What a doll and I am so proud of her. We have had such a fun year and I can't believe it is almost over. Wow that went fast!!!

Say cheese!

My little man got a haircut and I haven't had a second to document it. He is so cute and so much fun. 

He is also almost potty trained!!

Mini mermaid

Shelby loves her new mermaid doll and outfit. Well I don't know if she cares about the outfit. But she sure looks adorable in it. 

The forest

The girls had fun playing in the forest by grandpas house. Hehe

Watch out Mac

Poor spoiled Mac is having a hard time adjusting to Shelby being all up in his business. She eats his snacks, plays with his puzzles, moves trains on the train table, and loves to be right next to him. 

Mac usually responds by screaming and trying to block her, but that usually doesn't work and then he ends up crying and I end up laughing and shelbs ends up confused. 

Cara at 7

Here are some fun things about Cara at age 7:

She loves hoarding money, candy, trinkets, books, toys, and anything else very random. In her backpack you will often find a kendama, a bible or Book of Mormon, some Monopoly money, some real money, a pack of gum, a couple shopkins, and a Japanese Fan. Occasionally throw in a stuffed animal and some homework and that is Cara. 

She loves reading. I often find her in the early morning reading books in bed. She is loving out Harry Potter bedtime reading. But is bummed that I only read to her when I am not working. 

Cara is an excellent sister. She loves making Shelby and Mac laugh. And while she doesn't change many diapers, she is willing to hold and play and entertain both kids while mommy takes naps. 

Cara loves candy and sugar more than her mother! She'll eat anything and she'll eat it all. She is pretty sneaky about it, but the two cavities she has had filled  are giving her away. Lots of flouride and brushing and flossing are in her future. 

She would tell you that Addie is her best friend, But they do fight like sisters. Thankfully they love each other and always make up. Her other best friends are Khloe, Ashlyn, Gena, and Aiden. However., any play date will do.  

Cara continues to be sassy, strong willed, and hilarious. She loves gymnastics, singing, hugs (no kisses on the lips), Legos, bike and scooter rides. She will cuddle and do almost anything for computer time or dessert. 

Thanks Cara for bringing so much life and personality to our family. We love you beautiful girl!!

Temple day

Who knew that when you get babysat at the temple you get to play dress up and have a fashion show??

It was so nice of our stake to provide a morning of babysitting. Rich and I actually got to go to the temple together!!
