San Fran for a day

We took the kids to San Francisco to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge.
The kids were good sports and we had a lot of fun.

Especially since we bribed them with ice cream!

Day 3

We started off our last day in San Francisco with a delicious brunch next door to the famous dottie's cafe. We wanted to go to Dottie's but the line was too long and I was too hungry. But the place next door was good too.
Then we walked around some more and waited for these cuties to come pick us up.
I gave in and bought them "hand made " hats. That every lady in the city was selling. But they were thrilled. Plus it was cold so it worked.

It was a great weekend, but it is also good to be home.

San Francisco day 2 part 2

After our rest we went to china town and looked at all the random stuff there. We got tons of use of the selfie stick and laughed so hard every time we used it.
Then we walked to fishermans warf and listened to some street musicians while we sat and realized how sore we were going to be the next morning from all of our walking.
Then we got some clam chowder in a bread bowl and realized we better top it off with an ice cream Sunday.
Thank goodness for chocolate at the end of the day.
Belly shot in the hotel waiting for the elevator.

And finally we ended the night with full body massage chairs (got a bruise on my butt from it! Ouch) and in bed by 10 and watching modern family reruns.

San Fran day 2 part 1

Our first full day in the city was packed with fun. We leisurely got ready for the day and walked until we found a place for breakfast. We had bagels and hot chocolate. Then we did some shopping and got our makeup done.
We used our selfie stick multiple times and laughed every time we used it. We took a picture in front of yoda while watching people play chess in the park.
We then walked down to the ferry building but not before passing tons of artisan booths. This homemade mug booth was our favorite.
Then we ate a nectarine and a pork sticky bun at the farmers market while looking for lunch. At lunch is when we hit our 10,000 steps. We finally found Gotts and ate there for lunch. After lunch we took a break and went back to the hotel.

Happy babymoon with a bestie!

Rich and his friend chase from Arizona planned a weekend trip for me and Kim in San Francisco. What a treat. No kids and permission to spend as much money as we can. (Just kidding about that last part)
We ate dinner at house of nan king. It was delicious and so filling. We have no plans except to relax and have fun and not miss our kids too much.
I took the ferry over to San Francisco and I had never done that before. It was fun and it will be fun to go with the kids someday.
We may or may not be using a selfie stick for a lot of our pictures today. 🌉

San Fran with Dan

I titled this post and Rich said, "who is Dan?" Haha. I laughed and he caught himself. Those are the fun jokes you play on each other when you name your baby a name that you don't ever use. So, rich, Daniel (baby Mac), and I went to San Francisco for a spontaneous quick trip to visit a friend from our old ward. Both of us have moved out of ahwatukee, but I visit taught Kyle for about 4 years maybe? It was great to see her and her husband and catch up.

San Francisco

Wow. Yesterday was a fun day and thanks to my parents and rich for letting me play hooky and go into San Francisco with my friend Lisa. Lisa was in town with her husband who was teaching at a conference. On Sunday they came up to Napa and Monday I went to play with Lisa. It was so much fun. We went to pier 39, China town, the ferry building, on a trolley, and more. It was delicious and fun and lazy and just awesome.

Anyone else want to come visit?
