Too soon.

This baby doesn't have teeth but she is pulling herself up to standing!!

 Happy 8 months little girl. I will post more on her 8 months later.

Tourist for an afternoon

Shelby and I went up valley last weekend with some family to play tourist. 

It was a gorgeous day and Shelby was loving being outside and enjoying all the fun. 

Thanks to uncle John and aunt Laura for coming to visit us!!

He never reads he blog but I sure enjoy being married to this guy. 

Here he is in my rain boots to take out the garbage last week. 

And here is him multi tasking. Family night lesson, feeding a baby, and generally be awesome.  

Only in Napa

So only in Napa can your daughter buy this fancy corkscrew at the school store. Ryann came home so excited because she thought it was a microscope. Poor little Mormon girl had no idea what a corkscrew was. 

Now she is plotting on how much money she can sell it to uncle Cory or uncle pete. Maybe a bidding war is in order. 

Hahaha

Sick again?

My poor sick baby is throwing up again. 

Thank goodness dad is at home with her to take care of her. 

Sunday mornings

I work a lot of Saturday nights. When I get home I crawl into bed and rich helps get the kids breakfast. Then he leaves for church around 8. I woke up at 9 to some loud kids and when I came out to check on them this is what they were doing. It was one of the cutest and funniest things I have ever seen them do together. They never play this well and j had to document it. 

End of the Disneyland day

Of course we stayed around long enough to see the parade and fireworks. They were spectacular. I also ran into an old friend from college and we chatted for awhile. It was so great to see her. 

The parade was fun and loud and we danced following the parade. When j say we I mean myself and one other friend. After that we headed down to Main Street to shop for our little ones. 

And most importantly I got a churro on the way out of the park. It is a hamilton tradition. 

After that we headed back to my aunt and uncle's house and loaded up the car for the drive home. That was fun. I slept for the first hour, spent the second hour keeping someone awake and then finally decided to take over and drive the last 4 hours. 

Shelby was fabulous and slept the entire way home. 

Would I do it again? YES!!

Disney in a day

About a month ago a couple girlfriends and I decided to plan a one day trip to Disneyland! We found a day that sort of worked for some of us and decided to drive down at night, spend the night at my aunt and uncles house, go to Disneyland, and then drive home after the park closed. 

 So we were crazy and did it!! Our husbands and sitters manned the fort  while we went off and played. Shelby came with us and was such a trooper. She didn't feel well so she slept a lot. 

We walked over to the park in the morning (after hardly any sleep) and started our day. We went on hyperspace mountain twice in a row, followed by Indiana jones twice in a row, and then ate at the blue bayou. 

We spent all day playing and going on rides and doing a little bit of shopping. It was so much fun and we are already scheming on how we make this into an annual trip. Haha.

Around 3 we met up with my uncle John over at California adventure. He asked to take Shelby while we went on a couple rides kid free. It was heavenly as well.  Then around 4 he surprised me and took her back to my aunt and uncles house when I got a text saying that they wanted to watch her for the rest of the night. I might have done a little happy dance!!
